Rare Paraiba Tourmaline in Quartz 40,27 ct

Very rare specimen.

This spectacular stone shows a section of a paraiba tourmaline crystal adorned with a nice spray of small radiating crystals.

Only a band of the coveted blue paraiba color is present, between the bluish-green of the inner core and the outer dark green band, but all the crystal is composed by Copper bearing tourmaline and for that reason is a real “Paraiba Tourmaline”.

Origin is Batalha Mine, Paraiba State, Brazil.

Stone is not heated.
