Neon Blue Apatite oval 2.33 ct

Blue Apatite from Madagascar.

Very deep blue color.

Natural gemstone but we think it had some heat treatment, due to the customs of the area. The rough of these apatite have an intense green color. The light heating of the rough leads to its change of the color to blue. However, this process often broke the rough, so it is very difficult to have stone near 1 carat.
