Botryoidal hyalite Opal UV fluorescent 4,3 g

Natural botryoidal hyalite opal UV fluorescent from Chihuahua, Mexico.

This opal is shaped as a sculptural mushroom column of 20 mm high with nice little botryoids.

It´s found inside a deposit of thundereggs reaching 50 cm diameter.

The filling of thundereggs consist mainly of hyalite.

Complete mushroom-shaped structures like this are quite rare.

This opal is gem quality grade and can be cut in a wonderfull fluorescent gemstone or can be collected as it is.
