Azurite crystal

Azurite crystal from the Milpilla mine, Santa Cruz, Sonora, Mexico.
Two floater crystals, well formed and rich in faces, and of a vivid electric blue color.
Copper extraction at the mine began in 2006 and by the end of 2011 the main bodies were depleted. The mine was abandoned until 2015 when it was filled. In the period 2012-2015 the miners had the opportunity to collect the oxide mineral species from the upper levels.
For this reason, they can already be considered pieces from classic deposits that are difficult to find.
