Set Diopside gem and crystal

Nice set of Green Diopside, from a small deposit found in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

This intense green color is due to the presence of chrome and is typical of very expensive gemstones such as emerald or tsavorite. For this reason it would be more correctly called chrome diopside.
Weight: 0.38 ct gem y 2.53 ct rough.
Size: 5 x 3.5 x 2.5 gem y 9 x 7 mm rough.
