Tourmalinated quartz is usually included by one, several or multiple elongated crystals of Tourmaline. The most appreciated, rarest and most expensive is the quartz included with gem-colored tourmalines. Green is rare, but pink, blue or polychrome are super rare.
This rare gemstone shows a section of a paraiba tourmaline crystal adorned with a nice spray of small radiating crystals.Only a band of the coveted blue paraiba color is present, between the bluish-green of the inner core and the outer dark green band, but all the crystal is composed by Copper bearing tourmaline and for that reason is a real “Paraiba Tourmaline”.
